Mongolia vaccinates 414,382 against COVID-19 so far

AKIPRESS.COM - As of April 5, a total of 414,382 people in Mongolia or 22.4% of those subject to vaccination have been fully or partially vaccinated against COVID-19, Montsame reports.

372,876 of the vaccinated people are in the capital city and 41,506 people are in rural aimags.

Starting April 5, the vaccination rollout in Ulaanbaatar city has been intensified to cover other groups of the population – people aged between 18-49 years old and the vaccination held at 64 locations in Ulaanbaatar city and rural regions, including, Selenge, Darkhan-Uul, Bulgan and Orkhon aimags with over 1,000 healthcare workers of 138 vaccination teams administering vaccines to over 38,000 people yesterday.

On April 6, 1,247 healthcare workers are working at 69 vaccination sites to immunize 33,750 people, reports the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD).
