Parliament of Kyrgyzstan begins extraordinary session to decide on Kumtor and borders

AKIPRESS.COM - Extraordinary session of the Parliament started on May 17 to consider the conclusion of the state commission looking into the Kumtor mine activities.

On May 12, the head of the state commission Akylbek Japarov presented some of the results.

MP Ulanbek Ismailov said that today's agenda includes two issues: Kumtor and borders. He suggested splitting the consideration of issues.

Speaker Talant Mamytov said that the two issues are important and require quick solutions, therefore an extraordinary meeting was scheduled.

Today both issues will be considered.
