Mongolia received 100,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine to vaccinate pregnant, breastfeeding women

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian Cabinet resolved to administer Pfizer vaccine against coronavirus on pregnant women and nursing mothers on May 27 session, Montsame reports citing spokesperson of PM Ch.Bolortuya.

"Mongolia received 100,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine last night via the COVAX Facility. The vaccine will be administered on pregnant women and nursing mothers. There are around 53,000 pregnant mothers on the national level. As of today, pregnant mothers are being vaccinated with Verocell vaccine. If pregnant women have not got inoculated with Verocell vaccine, they are allowed to receive Pfizer vaccine. Pregnant mothers will be involved in vaccine voluntarily," Bolortuya said.
