AKIPRESS.COM - As of June 2, a total of 1,859,509 people have received the first dose of vaccines against COVID-19 in Mongolia representing 89.9 percent of the nationwide vaccination target – 2,067,292 adults and 60 percent of the total population of Mongolia.
1,323,266 of them or 64.0 percent of the vaccination target got their second shots.
Since the vaccination campaign launched in February, 951,193 people of Ulaanbaatar city got first shot of COVID-19 vaccines, and 746,083 people in the capital city have been fully immunized. In rural regions, the number of the fully vaccinated people is 577,183 and the partially vaccinated - 908,316, Montsame reports.
