AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia reported 3,696 new cases of the coronavirus, the Ministry of Health data for Sept 4 showed.

1,028 new cases were detected in the capital city, 2,668 cases in rural regions.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia now stands at 228,685. 2,644 patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

6 new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, raising the country’s death toll to 957.

17,010 people are receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19, 25,499 people with mild symptoms are treated at home.

11,026 patients are in mild, 4,430 in serious, 1,332 in critical, and 222 in very critical condition.
