CDC designates Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan as countries with unknown COVID-19 level

AKIPRESS.COM - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) included Uzbekistan into the group of countries with unknown COVID-19 level. American citizens are recommended to avoid travel to these countries.

Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan were also included by CDC into the given group of countries.

CDC uses COVID-19 data reported by the World Health Organization and other official sources to make determinations about COVID-19 levels and travel recommendations. If a country does not provide data, their  level is designated as “unknown” and travelers are advised to follow Level 4 recommendations as very high COVID-19 risks.
