AKIPRESS.COM - Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to UN Jonibek Hikmat met with Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the current issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Nations, particularly implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, and Spotlight Initiative. The meeting offered a chance to highlight the development process of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework in Tajikistan for 2023-2026, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan sadi.

The discussions also covered exchange of views on implementation of goals and objectives of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development” 2018-2028” and the related international events, including the Dushanbe Conference – 2022.
