AKIPRESS.COM - President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Defense Minister and Chief of General Staff to put nuclear deterrence forces on high alert.

"You see the Western countries undertake not only unfriendly actions against our country in economic sphere, I mean illegitimate sanctions well-known to all, but also key officials of NATO leading countries make aggressive statements about our country," Putin explained his order.
