Powerful mudflows hit Batken region

AKIPRESS.COM - Powerful mudflows struck rural areas of Batken region, Ministry of Emergency Situations announced.

The torrential rain caused a mudflow in Otukchu village at around 7:00 PM on May 11.

Mudflows also hit Tamasha, Kyzyl-Bulak, Kok-Tala villages of Kadamjai district. The local roads were destroyed.

Mudflows were diverted in a special protection canal in Batken town.
