AKIPRESS.COM - In accordance with the capital city governor’s order, Ulaanbaatar city will observe a car-free day on May 28.

During the car-free day, the main horizontal roads of the capital city including the central part of the Peace Avenue between the Baruun and Zuun Durvun Zam (West and East Four-way Intersections), Baga Toiruu, Seoul Street, Beijing Street, Ankara Street and Sambuu Street will be closed.

Ulaanbaatar Marathon-2022 will be concurrently organized with the car-free day. Moreover, an exhibition of EU countries will be organized at Sukhbaatar Square.

Participants are able to register for the marathon online through www.marathon.ulaanbaatar.mn or in-person at a relative sports committee in your district or capital city office of physical culture and sports.
