AKIPRESS.COM - President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to study the possibility of building desalination plants and supplying water from the Caspian Sea to Ashgabat, Orient reported.

The task was given to Deputy Prime Minister Annageldy Yazmyradov during a working meeting on the situation in the agricultural sector and water supply.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to check courses of the Amu Darya, Karakum and other rivers for their condition and fullness and if necessary to clean and channels and watercourses and concrete them.
