AKIPRESS.COM - The second phase of construction of Balykchy-Bokonbaevo-Barskoon road in Issyk-Kul region has started.

Construction of the road is carried from from the 71st to 141st km, from Ak-Sai to Barskoon village.

The temporary camp for 400 road builders is under construction now. More than 600 will be employed during construction of the road in total, including locals.

The road is enlarged now, bridges and water supply pipes are constructed.

The company building the road operationalizes more than 150 special vehicles, above 100 dump trucks and heavy vehicles.

Asphalt works will begin within 1-2 months.
