AKIPRESS.COM - The emergency situation was declared in Batken region. The respective order was signed by Batken region governor and civil defense head Abdikarim Alimbaev on September 16.

The emergency situation was declared in connection with the registered conflict with use of weapons in border areas of Kyrgyzstan and Batken region with the purpose of re-establishment of peace in the region, ensuring safety for citizens in the conflict zone, evacuation and resettlement of population, prevention of human losses and mobilization of respective forces.
