Minister of Education and Science Beishenaliev detained for bribery

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev has been detained.

The Minister's detention was confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Minister Beishenaliev was caught red handed while taking a bribe.

The Interior Ministry's press service said the investigation was launched into extortion of $110,000 bribe for enrollment of foreign students into local universities.
