Almost 68% of voters in Kazakhstan receive ballots in early presidential elections as of 6 pm

AKIPRESS.COM - 67.85% of voters in Kazakhstan have received ballots in less than two hours before the early presidential elections end, vlast.kz reported.

"8,108,668 citizens have received ballots as of 6 pm, which is 67.85% from the total number of voters in the country," Central Election Commission representative Shavka Utemisov says.

The turnout was 78.88% in Abai region, 75.82% in Akmola region, 71.23% in Aktobe region, 70.92% in Almaty region, 67.88% in Atyrau region, 64.77% in Western Kazakhstan, 77.27% in Jambyl region, 77.08% in Jetisu region, 77.80% in Karaganda region, 77.56% in Kostanai region, 77.20% in Kyzylorda region, 64.57% in Mangistau region, 77.12% in Pavlodar region, 77.46% in Northern Kazakhstan region, 80.25% in Turkestan region, 74.45% in Ulytau region and 76.81% in Eastern Kazakhstan region. The turnout is 48.01% in Astana, 27.93% in Almaty and 59.56% in Shymkent.
