AKIPRESS.COM - European Union Ambassador Marilyn Josefson visited Osh city and Osh region from 24 to 26 November.

During her visit, the Ambassador held a series of meetings with representatives of Osh State University, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, representatives of non-governmental organizations and businesses.

In particular, Marilyn Josefson got acquainted with the projects funded by the European Union. On the first day of her visit, the Ambassador visited the Digital Skills Center at Osh State University, met with young entrepreneurs, visited the Osh wastewater treatment plant, met with the committee on protection from domestic violence in Nariman village, and visited Ololo City Osh and Osh Eco Hotel, which have also received EU funding.

Marilyn Josefson took in a city tour and learned about local bread and knife-making traditions. Finally, the Ambassador met with youth from Aravan village at the Babur High School Youth Center.
