Acharya International University to open in Bukhara region

The sides discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in education.
An IT cluster specializing in digital technologies is being launched in Bukhara region's Karakul district in accordance with the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026.
The cluster's purpose is to create a complex chain from education to production in the information technology.
The IT cluster will include a university with 5,600 seats, an incubation center with 100 seats and a center for the export of remote services with 50 seats, a student dormitory with 1,435 seats and a hotel for employees, a canteen, outdoor and indoor sports complexes.
The Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan, Bukhara region's administration and Acharya Institute of India on October 10 signed a Cooperation Agreement to create Acharya International University of Uzbekistan.
Issues of continuing work in this direction, the development of new joint projects were also discussed at the meeting.
