AKIPRESS.COM - The Afghan authorities and a Chinese company signed an agreement on extracting oil from the Amu Darya basin, UzA reported.
The Chinese company will extract oil in a total area of 4,500 square kilometers in the northern provinces of Sari Pul, Jawzjan and Faryab in accordance with the agreement.
The company must invest $150 million in the first year. The investment will reach $540 million in three years.
