During the meeting, emphasizing the importance of the successful development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Cuba in the political, diplomatic, cultural and humanitarian fields, the parties expressed their intention to broaden multifaceted cooperation and readiness to work together to ramp up bilateral ties. Prospects of expanding trade and economic cooperation were reviewed.

The parties discussed issues of interaction within the framework of international organizations such as the UN, in particular through the Group of Friends of Neutrality for the sake of peace, security and sustainable development.
