AKIPRESS.COM - President Sadyr Japarov said the meeting was held with all ex-Presidents of Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting was attended by Askar Akaev, Kurmanbek Bakiev, Roza Otunbaeva, Almazbek Atambaev, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, president's press secretary Erbol Sultanbaev told AKIpress.

"The meeting was held on a neutral territory," he said.

"The ex-Presidents expressed their grievances and admitted their faults. The main thing is that they were able to forgive each other. This was my goal. I aimed that the supporters of each ex-President, residents of 7 regions of Kyrgyzstan would focus on one direction and think only about development of the nation and economy," President Sadyr Japarov said.

President Sadyr Japarov urged Kyrgyzstanis to get united, forgiving bygones and complaints.

"Let's think not about 5-10-year interests, but let's think about interests of Kyrgyzstan. I do not have personal interest, I am not envious of any of former Presidents before me and do not feel obliged to any of them. This is what I should highlight," President Japarov said.
