AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received EU Special Representative for Central Asia Terhi Hakala, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the EU – Central Asia Civil Society Forum.

The parties discussed the results of bilateral and interregional events held in 2022 at various levels. The prospects for further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU in all areas were considered.

The parties confirmed their readiness to take joint measures for the soonest signing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union, UzA reported.
