AKIPRESS.COM - A capsule laying ceremony at the site of the new building of school #11 was held in Karakol town on April 3.

Elementary school grades will study in this building in the future.

Karakol mayor Ermat Jumaev, members of city council, city activists and educators participated in the event.

This school building is intended for 264 pupils and the construction is financed by the local budget for 49 million soms.

This school, according to Jumaev, was built in 1966 and back then was designed for 900 students. Currently about 3,000 pupils have to study in three shifts. This year a lot of attention will be paid to education, 7 schools across the town will be commissioned by the new academic year, said mayor.
