AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev met with Director of the Department for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Special Representative for Afghanistan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development of Great Britain Andrew McCoubrey via videoconference.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation on the Afghan problem.

Particular emphasis was placed on certain humanitarian issues relating to the situation in this region, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan said.
