Tajikistan repatriates 104 people from Syrian camps

AKIPRESS.COM - A group of 104 Tajik citizens were repatriated from Syria to Dushanbe on Sunday, according to the Information Department of the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan.

"The second group of 104 citizens of Tajikistan, consisting of women, teenagers and young children, was returned home by a special flight from Syria on May 21," the agency's source said.

These women and children were kept in Syrian camps. Many of them are the wives of dead militants of terrorist organizations, according to the source.

Five citizens of Kazakhstan, a mother and four children, were also delivered from Syria to Tajikistan by this flight at the request of the Kazakh side.
