Uzbekistan and Singapore to implement joint Smart City project

The sides paid primary attention to the current issues of bilateral partnership.
The parties discussed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation.
The Singapore side noted that it is ready to take comprehensive measures to expand the scale and volume of mutual trade.
An agreement was reached to hold "Made in Uzbekistan" exhibition in Singapore in September this year. This will unlock the potential of cooperation between the two countries in the industrial sector and expand the portfolio of joint investment projects.
The parties also considered other relevant issues of relations were considered, including the development of partnerships in education, the possibility of restoring direct flights between the two countries, and the prospects for implementing joint "Smart City" projects in Uzbekistan based on the Singaporean experience.
