AKIPRESS.COM - The Kyrgyz State Academic Symphony Orchestra named after Asankan Jumakmatov will go on tour to Naryn region in July, the Ministry of Culture reported on May 30.

The orchestra will hold the concert at the Kochkor Regional House of Culture named after Zhyrgalbek Abdykalykov on July 6, and at the Naryn Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater named after Muratbek Ryskulov on July 8.

The event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of People's Artist of the USSR Asankan Jumakmatov, the 95th anniversary of People's Writer of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aitmatov, the 140th anniversary of People's Artist of the Kyrgyz SSR Karamoldo Orozov, the 85th anniversary of the Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Karamoldo Orozov.
