
AKIPRESS.COM - Sary-Chelek state nature reserve is a specially protected natural area of Kyrgyzstan.
The reserve is located on the southern slopes of the Chatkal Range in the Western Tien Shan. It has a total area of 23,868 hectares.
It was included in the international network of UNESCO biosphere reserves in 1979.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision shared a photo report showing the beauty of Sary-Chelek.
