AKIPRESS.COM - The official opening ceremony of the first cultural and trade exhibition of Kyrgyzstan was held on July 18 in the center of Chicago, where products of Made in Kyrgyzstan are presented.

Kyrgyzstan became one of the four winners of the Cultural Exhibitions competition among more than 80 diplomatic missions of foreign states after the joint work of the Consulate General with five companies founded by compatriots in Chicago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

A room was allocated for free for a cultural and trade exhibition of Kyrgyzstan for 4 months in a popular tourist destination in Chicago as part of the project.

During the official opening of the exhibition, compatriots presented national and modern dances, folk music, the Manas epic, as well as a defile of national costumes.
