AKIPRESS.COM - More than 20,000 first graders started school in Bishkek.

The ceremonies on occasion of start of the academic year were held in schools of the capital on September 1.

The Bishkek education syste, includes 103 schools, 95 kindergartens, 6 extracurricular educational institutions.

The number of school students is growing by 8,589 children on average due to growth of birth rate and internal migration.
