AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received newly appointed Ambassador of Iran to Tajikistan Alireza Haqiqian on the occasion of handing over the copies of credentials on September 1, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of cooperation and prospects for the development of relations between the states.

The Minister congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Tajikistan and expressed confidence that he will actively contribute to the expansion of bilateral relations.
