Uzbekistan-Korean transport logistics companies to export Uzbek products to South Korea

AKIPRESS.COM - The joint Uzbekistan-Korean transport logistics companies will be established in Uzbekistan, and the export of Uzbekistan products to the Republic of Korea will be organized, UzA reports.

It is also planned to create a complex for processing solid household waste.

These issues were discussed by Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva and Chairman of Eurasia Networks Group, Senior Vice President of the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA) Kim Chang-Keon.

President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Chang Won-sam emphasized new opportunities to expand bilateral relations during the talks. It was noted that the agency provided financial, technical, and grant support for more than $140 million in implementing socio-economic programs in Uzbekistan. Cooperation with KOICA is also carried out within the framework of the implementation of the project for the introduction of the electronic parliament system in the Parlaiment of Uzbekistan.

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), together with KOICA, is implementing a project to improve the ecosystem of the Aral Sea region, the cost of which is $5.9 million.

The parties agreed on implementing healthcare, education, information technology, utilities, agriculture and water management, energy, and transport projects.
