AKIPRESS.COM - A presentation on culture and tourism of China’s Xi'an was held in Silk Road Samarkand Complex.

The event, aimed at strengthening cultural ties, particularly tourism development, widely demonstrated the tourism potential of the ancient Chinese city of Xi'an, UzA reported.

At the event, a memorandum was signed between the Department of Tourism of Samarkand region and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Xi'an on developing cooperation in tourism.

During the event, the national dances of Xi'an were also presented, particularly masterpieces of songs and dances of the Tang dynasty, as well as examples of Uzbek national art.

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Xi'an organized a drawing of prizes and trips to Xi'an with accommodation in the best hotels.
