AKIPRESS.COM - The Second International Mathematical Olympiad named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi is being held at the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, UzA reports.

Over 200 students from more than 40 higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan are participating in the Olympiad.

The Olympiad aims to promote internationally the great merits of the great scientist to science, support gifted students, and attract them to study exact sciences.
