AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian baritone Amartuvshin Enkhbat won the first place in the category "Best Opera Baritone" for the second time at the 8th International Opera Awards. He won this award for the first time in 2020, Montsame reported.
This year, three singers from each voice (tenor, baritone, bass) were selected and nominated for the finals from the 15 best opera singers in the world. Opera singer from Mongolia Enkhbatyn Amartuvshin became the winner in the category "Best Baritone in the World".
Amartuvshin took second place at the International Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (St. Petersburg) in 2011, and took first place in the international vocal competition of the planet - "The Placido Domingo’s Operalia" in June 2012.
Amartuvshin performed opera roles on the stages of leading theaters around the world from 2017 to 2019.
