
AKIPRESS.COM - The 2023 IAM World Memory Championship was held in Mumbai, India, organized by the International Association of Memory team. Over 700 competitors from Mongolia, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Japan, India and other countries participated in the tournament.
The winners were selected in 10 categories that tested visual and auditory memory.
12 athletes representing Mongolia, together with judges and coaches, won 23 gold, 16 silver, 8 bronze medals out of a possible 90, or a total of 47 medals and 7 cups.
Mongolian athletes became 4-time world champions in the team standings.
In addition, Gegeen-Oyun Monkhbat took first place in the children's category, Uuriintsolmon Enkhzhargal in the juniors' category, and Tenuun Tamir in the adult category.
