AKIPRESS.COM - President Sadyr Japarov highlighted importance of payment of taxes by all citizens of Kyrgyzstan during the Second Kurultai in Bishkek.

Reduction of shadow economy allowed such large-scale raise of pensions, benefits, salaries, construction of a big number of social facilities and hundreds km of new roads, the President said.

The state will be unable to build a strong army, to ensure social well-being, quality health care and education without taxes, the President said.

"Taxes should be seen not as compulsion and demand, but as an important contribution into development of the country. Not as a tax, but as a deposit," the President said.
