AKIPRESS.COM - Russian President Vladimir Putin held individual bilateral meetings with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev following the informal CIS summit, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"After the informal summit, Putin held separate bilateral meetings with the Kazakh and Uzbek presidents," Peskov said.
He said cooperation in the gas sphere was discussed.
"We see leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are discussing with [President Vladimir] Putin the topic of cooperation in the gas sphere on the sidelines [of the CIS summit]," Peskov said. Interaction in this area is developing efficiently, he noted.
