Chief Cabinet Secretary orders to intensify implementation of development projects in first half of 2024

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Mongolia and Head of the Cabinet Secretariat D. Amarbayasgalan presented to the Cabinet of Ministers projects and measures implementation of which needs to be intensified in the first half of 2024, Montsame reports.

The implementation of 75 projects and measures reflected in Mongolia's long-term development policy, "Vision-2050," the Action Plan of the government of Mongolia for 2020-2024, the New Revival Policy, and the 2023 National Development Plan, as well as tasks assigned by the Prime Minister of Mongolia, is currently subpar, with some of them not yet started.

Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene ordered to accelerate the implementation of the development projects and measures that are anticipated to have a positive impact on the country’s society and economy, focusing on achieving tangible results within the first half of 2024. It was decided to issue the Prime Minister's official directive to members of the government and governors of provinces and Ulaanbaatar.

The government approved the resolution on declaring 2024 as the Year to Support Regional Development at the last session of 2023. Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia Ch. Khurelbaatar and Head of the Cabinet Secretariat D. Amarbayasgalan were tasked with developing a plan for implementing the resolution in the first 100 days of 2024.
