Life in rural Kyrgyzstan: A family with nine children from Bakai-Ata

AKIPRESS.COM - Gulbarchyn Shergazy kyzy, a 32-year-old woman from Talas, is raising 9 children with her husband. She was born in the village of Kara-Suu, Talas region and got married in 2010 to a resident of Ken-Aral, Bakai-Ata district.

"My husband and I dreamed of having many children. As a result, we have 6 sons and 3 daughters. Our mother-in-law, father-in-law and his mother help us with the children. We carefully chose names for the children," shared Gulbarchyn.

Children's names are Ali, Usman, Asiia, Rabia, Umar, Raiana, Abdullah, Abdurakhman, and Hamza.

"The eldest child is in the 7th grade, and the youngest is only 2 months old. Five go to school, and the remaining four stay at home. The older ones help with household chores. All nine have different characters. My husband works from morning till night. I stay at home and take care of the children," she shares.
