AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Kurbanov met with Ambassador of Kazakhstan Askar Tajibaev.

The diplomats discussed prospects for strengthening relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan on a wide range of bilateral cooperation.

They reviewed progress of practical implementation of bilateral agreements reached during the high-level visits. Importance of political consultations, as well as the need to organize regular bilateral visits and contacts at the highest level was highlighted.

The parties also noted the importance of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation and holding regular meetings and consultations between parliamentarians of the two countries.
