AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received Ambassador of Japan Toshihiro Aiki on January 17, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and the further strengthening of cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan in economic and social spheres, personnel training and scientific and cultural ties, the implementation of previously signed cooperation documents, the implementation of joint projects, as well as other areas of mutual interest.

The parties highlighted the importance of further strengthening cooperation within the framework of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue.
