AKIPRESS.COM - The Oktiabrskiy District Court of Bishkek ordered liquidation of the Public Foundation Kloop Media, kloop.kg reported.

The Foundation plans to appeal against the ruling in Bishkek City Court.

On August 22, 2023, the Bishkek Prosecutor's Office filed a claim to the Oktiabrskiy District Court seeking liquidation of Kloop Media Public Foundation in connection with its acitivities going beyond the activities stipulated in its charter.

The materials published on the website and social networks of the Public Foundation "are aimed at sharp criticism of policy of current authorities," the Prosecutor's Office said.

A bulk of posts "is of a purely negative nature, aimed at discrediting representatives of state and municipal bodies," the Prosecutor's Office added.
