AKIPRESS.COM - Strengthening the capacity of Mongolian veterinary hospitals and establishing the veterinary health center project was implemented in 2019-2023 with the funding of the Korean Rural Community Corporation of South Korea and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Mongolia, Montsame reports.
A delegation from the Korean Rural Community Corporation (KRC) headed by President Lee Byung Ho visited the Mongolian University of Life Science on February 7 to discuss the ways to successfully implement the project's second stage under the funding of the government of South Korea.
A veterinary hospital was established at the veterinary school of the Mongolia University of Life Science as part of the project. Short and long-term training for its professors was conducted in the two countries. Mongolian University of Life Science reported that the project has been implemented successfully jointly with WOSEM group of South Korea and Kyungpook National University.
A veterinary hospital for large livestock animals is planned to be established in Erdene district of Tuv province at the second stage of the project. Rector of the Mongolian University of Life Science expressed the University's commitment to effectively running the newly established veterinary hospital.
KRC President Lee Byung Ho expressed KRC's full support in the implementation of the second phase of the project.
