AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Digital Development and Communications of Mongolia Uchral Nyam-Osor and Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Mohammad Al Gergawi announced the official start of cooperation between the governments of the two countries at the World Governments Summit, Montsame reported.

The Memorandum of Understanding on the exchange of governance development and reform experience was signed between the Cabinet Secretariat of the government of Mongolia and the General Secretariat of the Cabinet of the UAE during the visit of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to the UAE on November 28-30, 2023.

Minister of Digital Development and Communications Uchral Nyam-Osor held a bilateral meeting with Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Omar Sultan Al Olama in November 2023. They agreed to cooperate in the field of artificial intelligence and signed the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.

In addition, the government of Mongolia was awarded the "Global Government Excellence Award" at the World Governments Summit held in Dubai, UAE, on February 12-14, 2024. This Award is given to the best practices of governments in the successful and effective implementation of electronic transition.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Communications reported that the "Wide-Open" operation and transparency implemented by the government of Mongolia in the framework of the "E-Nation-E-Mongolia" initiative in bringing government services closer to citizens have been recognized as first-class experiences at the international level.

Minister of Digital Development and Communications of Mongolia received the "Global Government Excellence Award" from Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Office of Development and Martyrs Families Affairs at the Presidential Court of the UAE.
