AKIPRESS.COM - The Ulaanbaatar Marathon will be held at the Sukhbaatar Square on Saturday, May 25, 2024, GoGo reports.

This running competition has been organized since 2014. The main purpose of the event is to develop marathon sports, advertise Ulaanbaatar city to the world, increase the number of residents interested in running, and provide physical and mental education to youths.

Last year, over 100 enterprises and 500 volunteers took part in the competition. More than 20,000 participants from 30 countries ran.

The number of participants in the marathon is increasing every year. Citizens, enterprises and communities are invited to participate.
