Denis Petrashov wins gold at 11th Asian Age Group Aquatics Championship
AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz swimmer Denis Petrashov won the gold medal at the 11th Asian Age Group Aquatics Championship.
The 11th Asian Age Group Aquatics Championship is held from February 26 to March 9 at New Clark City, Philippines.
14 swimmers contested in 200-meter breaststroke on February 26.
In the preliminary heat, Petrashov showed a time of 27.87 seconds and took 1st place. Based on the results of the preliminary heats, he advanced to the final with the best result.
In the final, Denis Petrashov was able to improve his result of 27.67 seconds and finished first, becoming the new Asian champion.
