AKIPRESS.COM - Special status for the National Academy of Sciences was discussed last year, President of National Academy of Sciences Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov said at the conference of the Academy of Sciences.

"I asked such status at the meeting with Cabinet Chairman Akylbek Japarov. He agreed and supported the idea," he said. 

This work was entrusted to Almaz Isanov, who left his post. This work should be completed, the President of the Academy of Sciences said.
