AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Education and Science Dogdurkul Kendirbayeva met with UK Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nicholas Bowler.

The Minister of Education expressed confidence in long-term cooperation. Kendirbayeva said she received an invitation from the UK Education Secretary to an event in May, the Ministry of Education noted.

The Minister spoke about the transfer of textbooks by the University of Cambridge.

Ambassador Nicholas Bowler said he supports the initiative to teach English language to university teachers and school teachers in STEM subjects to ensure access to education. He also suggested teaching English to students of medical educational institutions.
