The sides noted that regular consultative meetings of the heads of Central Asian countries play an important role in strengthening trust, good-neighborly relations and strategic partnership and in discussing current issues on the regional and international agenda.
The Ambassador drew attention to the effectiveness of the CA+ formats, including cooperation with his country within the framework of the "Central Asia+ Japan" mechanism.
In addition, the importance of interaction between the parties in exchanging positive experiences in holding joint events and conferences with Japanese think tanks was noted.
The Japanese side expressed readiness to assist in establishing cooperation between IICA and the Japan Institute of International Affairs, which will further support practical cooperation, strengthen research potential, and organize joint events.
