Mongolia and Belarus to develop Roadmap for cooperation until 2026

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia and Belarus will develop a Roadmap for cooperation until 2026, Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Aleinik said following negotiations with Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh in Ulaanbaatar.

"We agreed to prepare and sign a comprehensive road map of our bilateral cooperation until 2026," said Sergei Aleinik.

The supply of Belarusian agricultural machinery and equipment, utility and road repair vehicles, equipment for emergency response, elevator equipment, quarry equipment, agricultural production complexes are among joint projects.

"We are also discussing the possibility of opening specialized trading platforms both in Minsk and Ulaanbaatar. We are open to an honest dialogue with Mongolian business in all sectors without exception," noted Sergei Aleinik.

The minister said that relations between the countries are much broader than the economy. The Belarusian side is also interested in cooperation in the humanitarian, cultural, media, sports and tourism fields.

"We have already outlined a number of projects, the implementation of which will seriously advance us in these areas, especially in the field of education. There is a need to expand the legal framework of our bilateral relations, which should effectively provide a broad framework for our cooperation," noted Sergei Aleinik.
